Acceptance Guidelines

From An Evolution in RP :: Database

Jump to: navigation, search

(1) - All members must use the application format provided here. Failure to use this format will result in the denial of your application.

(2) - There are currently no restrictions on the number of characters a player has, though it is possible you may be asked to drop characters if it is believed you are not capable of keeping them all active. Only one (1) of these characters may be force sensitive Jedi/Sith at this time and your first character can NOT be a Force sensitive character. You are only able to apply for a Jedi/Sith if you already have had a character at SWE for 30 active days in the Galaxy at Large forum. Keep in mind also that acceptance of Force sensitive characters is not a continuous occurrence and that there are specific times when either the Jedi or Sith are accepting new members and these times will be posted publicly for all to see in the RP Simulation News & Announcements Forum. In some rare and special instances we may alter this rule at our discretion, asking and pleading is not something likely to make us grant an exception. Individual applications must be submitted for each character, using different board accounts.

(3) - The Director of the Bio Approval Committee [or other appointed observer] may ask you to alter your application if they deem it necessary to fit current standards. This could be done for numerous reasons such as mentioning canon characters not in our galaxy, improper IC Timeline placement, or super human characters. These would be characters with no evident weaknesses or unlimited strengths. You will not be asked to alter your application for any personal reasons.

(4) - Once your application has been approved by the Bio Approval Committee, it will remain in the Application forum until you have made a post in the Galaxy at Large forum where our main plot line occurs. You must first make 5 posts in the General RP forum before posting in the Galaxy at Large forum, but once done you can then relocate your character bio to the Evolution Database. Upon posting it to the database, your application version will be relocated to the Bio Storehouse and not seen on the main message board any longer.

(5) - You are not required to register for a character in order to post in the Out of Character [OOC] forums.

(6) - You ARE required to read The Backstory BEFORE making an application. The reason for this is to ensure you understand the differences in SWE as compared to any other Star Wars RPS/G out there.
