Bellassa was a thriving, peaceful world. The capital was Ussa, a pleasant city with seven large, tranquil lakes. Little is publicly known about this Outer Rim planet, aside from the whole planet's overwhelming affinity for peace. No citizen of the planet owns so much as a hold-out blaster, and even the law enforcement officials do not carry sidearms regularly. In the past, Bellassa produced a portion of the galaxy's mutonium, before its mines ran dry. Approximately 1 ATP, Bellassa was invaded and seized by the Galactic Empire after it attempted to secede and become an independant monarchy. Both former Bellassa Senator Rhiara D'Loroc and Rebel supporter Sheyenne are citizens of the planet.

Geography
Bellassa's terrian consists primarily of forested mountains, foothills, plains, bluffs, meadows and lakes.
History
Not Safe For Long
Just over a year after the Great Jedi Purge began and a month after the Empire came to power, Bellassa attempted to secede from the new government and become a monarchy. Emperor Josdon sent the Minister of Imperial Propaganda Bishop Xinge, along with his wife Kate Xinge, to quell the uprising on the planet. There they met with Bellassan leader, and former Republic Senator Rhiara D'Loroc about her planet's desires.
During the meeting, tensions rose and led to a battle outside the Bellassan Palace when an accord could not be achieved inside. The Xinges worked to escape once they saw and believed the former Senator to be harboring a Jedi fugitive in Aslyn Denethorn, but were initially thwarted by rebel agent Falastur Luran and Killien Rallard. Imperial troops worked to surround the quartet, and the Xinges made their escape during the standoff.
Outside the palace the Xinges made their way to an alternate landing pad to be escorted from the planet, under the protection of Leena Horik.
