Appearance

Just over six foot tall, and 200 pounds, Jale's size doesn't bear out any immediate intimidation, but his wild mane of dark black hair and thick scraggly beard in contrast to his pale almost death like complexion do often put people at ill-ease. The hair bore streaks of silvery gray and was wavy and frayed. His clothing oft rough and at times tattered and torn give him the appearance of being a vagabond, though he's not.

Deep wrinkles creased his pasty white skin and made him seem older than he actually was. The anger and resentment that marked his life was most likely the cause of his rough and untamed exterior.

Personality

Full of hate, full of loathing, full of bitterness; Jale is an equal opportunity villian. He's despised the Republic and more importantly the Jedi since he was young and passed over for admittance to the Jedi Academy due to 'anger issues.' He vowed as he grew to show the Jedi just how angry he could become.

Hatred was his bride and he loved her well.

History

His disdain for Jedi dates back to the age of 5 years old when a venerable Jedi Master named Master Lorus visited his home planet of Kegan as he had sensed beings with a strong presence in the force. Three children in his town were selected to go with Lorus to the Jedi Temple where they would learn and serve the Jedi ways. Saryn was not among them. Lorus determined that Saryn was too angry, too uncontrollable to be a Jedi, though he was strong in the force. The elder Jedi hoped that if the young man was never taught the ways of the Force he could never manipulate them in a way that would harm those around him in the Republic. Master Lorus was wrong.

Saryn was crushed to be left out when his friends were going off on this new exciting trip and he grew angry that the old man wouldn't take him along. Even as a child he wanted revenge. Such emotion would forever marr his fate.

He killed his first sentient at the age of twelve after he decided the boy must have cheated to beat him at Sabaac, a game the children shouldn't have been playing anyway. Saryn's intuition had always served him well in the past and he knew he wasn't wrong in this instance either. During this act of hatred and violence another powerful presence was near him. A Jedi. But not the Jedi that Saryn had previously encountered, this was a Dark Jedi. One who would become his Master.

Dark Master Gris spotted the potential in Saryn and impressed the boy with his ability to manipulate beings around him to do his will. Now this was the power that Saryn had longed for since Master Lorus had shown up on Kegan years earlier. Saryn abandoned his family and left to train with Gris. To this day he doesn't know what became of his family.

The training went well for Saryn. He was an apt pupil and he soaked in the information Gris provided him like a sponge. In a short few years Gris had taught him all he could and now at the age of seventeen he was given a title in the ancient Sith tradition Darth Sinis.

It took the newly christened Sith no time at all to wreak havoc upon the Jedi Order. He, with his former Master Gris lured no less than a dozen Jedi to their deaths over the years via any means necessary. It wassn't uncommon for either he or they as a team to cause trouble for towns or villages with the express intent of luring a Jedi out to protect the citizens. When the Jedi arrived they would ritualistically slaughter them, toying with them, keeping them alive long enough to inflict pain and suffering, trying to drive the Jedi to the darkside before finally putting them out of their misery.

Saryn took great pride in his devious acts. Though he still sought to kill Lorus, the Jedi who condemned him to the life he now lived.

Belongings

Jale isn't concerned with material possessions. The only thing he's concerned with is his saber. Aside from his own well crafted implement, he also maintains a collection of Jedi weapons from the Jedi he has killed over the years.
