Appearance
Kate is what we would call 'a Syren' she's a beauty indeed, and knows it too. Standing at a full 5'6" without her heels and weighing in at an amazing 153 pounds given the rather gracious curvature of her hour glass figure, she is deffinately not one to be underestimated. While she appears to have little or nothing at all to her as far as muscle is concerned, she is finely tuned and has been able to condition her body to match that of a gold medal gymnist. But aside from her obvious attributes, her hair and her eyes are her more striking features. Her hair is an interesting three tone red, being layered in shades of strawberry blonde, a rich copper and a slightly darker auburn and her eyes shift with her moods but are primarily either the deepest and clearest ocean blue or the chilliest and freakiest ice blue. She's very fair, rarely finding herself with a tan. Another interesting attribute she has is a full shoulder to shoulder tattoo of a thorned rose vine which in the center sits a full budded black rose, the petals tipped in blue flame, a Phoenix arising from the center with a gold celtic cross in it's beak. The thorns closest to the bud have small blood droplets falling off of them and around the bud are written the words Come Phoenix dalla fiamma, così io vivono ancora are the words written around the rose meaning As the Phoenix from the flame, so shall I live again.
Now, Kate doesn't exactly follow traditional Smuggler and Pirate appeal. She doesn't exactly care too much for leaving her weapons out in the open, therefore, she wears articles of clothing to help compensate. On any given day you can find her usually in a pair of semi-tight black low risers, a white or black tank and black flight jacket. But she isn't without her own sense of style, choosing anything from a grey pin stripe suit to the most elegant Hapan or Chandrilian silk evening gown (only when occasion calls for it). Now, after having been wed to not only Lord Xinge himself, she has slowly warmed up to the more finer things in life, loose fitting pants, skirts, elegant tops, whatever gems her husband decides to give her that day or whatever strikes her fancy. But even at that, she still feels comfortable in her low-risers and tanks.
Personality
Kate's an average space jock with attitude. She doesn't take any crap from anyone and if she doesn't like you, she's not afraid to tell you straight-up how it is(unless she's out for a run of some kind, then she'll bite her tongue until things are done and over with). While she never really went to school, she knows more things then what most people would give her credit for. She knows politics, at least six different languages, and has extensive knowledge in ship and weapons design as well as galactic history and her always rather fascinating topic, Jedi history.
Belongings
Normal weapons for Kate are two scis hidden in the back of her pants, the handles are covered by her shirt. She also has a modified blaster of her own design concealed in a side holster. Her ship of choice is her modified J-type 327 Nubian the Phoenix, but her latest acquisition is a Luxury 5500 Space Shuttle modified to fit her needs lovingly called Esmerelda's Hope.
Background
Most people prefer a third person point of view for their biographies, but then again, bringing in a person from the outside may actually add some color to what may be an overall boring life. But for someone who has a history, for someone who has seen and been through more in a short span of time then a person would in a lifetime, bringing in a person from the outside to write it, well…let’s just say that then, what may be a true story, would either end up incomplete…or a legend. For a person like me…no one else can tell my story in all its ‘glory’ then the person who experienced it
To make a long story short, Kate hails from the planet of Chandrilia, which lies along the Perlimean Trade Route. Her mother and father were both killed when she was younger when their ship was attacked in transit to Naboo by a pirate armada. Her grandfather was soon killed not long after by the same band of pirates forcing the young woman to leave her home and adapt the deep dark underworld ways of crime and illegal trade. She worked the lower levels of Courscant for three years before falling into league with the same band of pirates who had killed her family, slowly killing those who stood in her way of her goal: To take out the woman responsible for every single bit of pain and misery she had experienced. One thing happened she never expected; she was inducted as leader of the unruly band. She quickly became the most powerful woman in the crime industry, feared by all and challenged by none. Her last act, however, was what changed her mind, when she was challenged by a young man named Ryan McMillian. The two became inseperable after Kate's pirate band broke apart. Tragedy struck again as Ryan soon fell victim to Jemba the hutt's anger, leaving Kate alone yet again.
Update: Now, Kate has acquired a new challenge...to prove to be both a loving mother and a wife to her new child and new husband.

Reason For Death: Died during childbirth.
Description of Events Leading Up To Death: Most of her life Kate had been a smuggler or a pirate. She lived on the wrong side of the law, but a chance meeting with politico Bishop Xinge re-directed her life. They fell in love after he'd hired her as his personal security agent. His involvement with Edwis Josdon had left him on the fast track to a high post once the Empire's emergence was clear.
Kate married the soon to be Imperial Minister of Propaganda and became the Imperial Security Chief herself some months after they wed. Her relationship with Bishop had existed for nearly a year prior to the birth of the Empire and resulted in her pregnancy roughly a half year before Josdon made the announcement of the Senate being disbanded.. No sooner had the Empire been born then was Kate ready to deliver Bishop's first known child, Bishop Xinge IV.
The normally happy event left the IHC in some shambles though. Kate died while in childbirth after a few days on life support in a coma, leaving the Empire to scramble to fill her post. Bishop took a much needed leave of absence as well, furthering the short-handedness of the IHC. Bishop has only made one public appearance since her death and rumors continue to swirl concerning his mental faculties.
