The SWE Database is a Web-based reference tool for all things associated with The Evolution Simulation. It exists as a database and is written collaboratively by members of the Evolution community, allowing most articles to be changed by registered Evolutionaries with access to a computer, a web browser, and an Internet connection. The project began on October 22, 2006

Editors are required to uphold a policy of "neutral point of view" under which notable perspectives are summarized without an attempt to determine an objective truth.
