Personality
Carefree and adventurous in some aspects, Sasha enjoys talking with people and mingling with the customers that frequent her club. It doesn't matter how shady they may be, whether they're on the take or not, or if they're the most upstanding members of Coruscant's society. She enjoys the clientèle, never revealing their secrets; though this could prove to be risky and dangerous to her well being. Trustworthy, a savvy business woman, Sasha gains the trust of others quickly and quite easily. She's charismatic, respected/respectable, confident, and sophisticated.
Background
Corellia and four other planets orbit the star of Corell in the Corellian sector. The entire system is an astrophysical curiosity, an enigmatic relic possibly left behind by an incredibly advanced ancient culture. As unlikely as it seems, all five planets are habitable, and floating between the fifth and sixth planets -- Tralus and Talus, the Double Worlds -- is an immense artifact known as Centerpoint Station. It is an unimaginably ancient device floating at the gravitic balance point between both worlds. Some xenoarchaeologists posit that Centerpoint was employed by an ancient, incredibly powerful culture to move the planets of the Corellian system into place.
Corellia is known as the "Elder Brother" of the system, serving as the administrative center not only for its "Brother planets" Drall, Selonia, Talus and Tralus, but also the entire sector. The planet is governed by a Diktat, while the sector itself was represented in the Galactic Senate by a Senator.
So what's changed aside from ownership? Much. Renovations of the entire building have finally reached completion, after three and half long years of constant work, including the addition of an upper level dubbed "Haven's End." Normally reserved for private functions, Sasha's opened up the exclusive upper floor to the social elite of society. There, they dine in grand elegance, well away from the "less savory" of the clientèle that often frequent the club.
How did a woman from an upper-middle-class family come to afford to purchase the club and to renovate it? She rubbed elbows with the right people. Or, more specifically, with the right person. Kristi's Klub boasts two owners. Sasha is the public face, the woman dealing with the daily tasks of business ownership and her silent partner remains anonymous behind the scenes. The silent partner agreed to the financing in exchange for information, which is always passed around in hushed tones in Kristi's Klub.
Sasha's mother, Jenessa Parmilod currently works as a fashion designer for AthleticGal, one of the galaxy's largest producers of swim wear for females of all species. Jenessa's career in the fashion industry began at the age of sixteen while working as a cashier for Consumart. In fact, it was nothing more than a stroke of luck that she ended up as a fashion designer. During a slow day at the mart, a customer in Jenessa's check-out lane asked the young cashier for her opinion on which of two swimsuits she should buy. The woman explained that it was for her honeymoon. Jenessa stood there and looked at the two the customer held up, then wrinkled her nose, after studying the woman's facial features and the shape and design of her body. She got another to cover her register, then took the customer back to the swim wear department and helped her choose the one that was right for her. The woman was pleased, and informed the store's manager. A few months later, Jenessa was moved into the woman's apparel department. After receiving numerous praise and compliments from happy customers, Jenessa was approached by the owners of Consumart approximately seven months later. Thus, her career in fashion took off.
Jarod Parmilod's career began during his sophomore year of business school at the University of Tralus when he received a paid internship with Eleven Star Marketing- a major advertising, marketing, and sales company which is also a non-voting, contributing sponsor of the Corporate Sector Authority. The company was hired to do the advertising campaign for AthelicGal, featuring their newest line designed by Jenessa. AthleticGal was impressed by the marketing campaign created by Eleven Star for the Aj^6 cyborg - "Artificial Intelligence Worth Shaving Your Head For". Wanting fresh ideas through a fresh set of eyes, the company took a step they'd never taken before when they asked Jarod to head the ad campaign. During one of the holoshoots, Jarod was introduced to Jenessa. Over time, and once they both finished with school and became established in their careers, Jarod and Jenessa married. They've been married for fifty-two years and have never spent a single night apart.
Their first child, a son, was born within the first year of their marriage. Jerich was a happy surprise to the young couple, considering they wanted to wait five years before starting their family. Jerich spent the first five and a half months of his life in the children's hospital, suffering from ascomycetous pneumoconiosis, often simply referred to as fester lung. It's a debilitating illness caused by the inhalation of certain mold spores and is often accompanied by a high fever. Many victims often die from literally cooking in their own bodily fluids. Luckily for Jerich, he was hospitalized early enough to prevent the condition from getting worse.
Though he recovered, Jerich developed asthma by the age of five as a result of the disease and was always a 'small' child. The Parmilod parents packed up and moved their family to Tralus a year later with hopes that the atmosphere of Tralus would help to improve Jerich's poor health. Today, Jerich is employed with Galactic Crystal Creations, an employee-owned corporation that purchased the rights to the planet Garnib. It uses the planet to create wondrous pieces from the unusual Garnib crystals and market them throughout the galaxy.
Thirty-three years ago, Sasha entered the Parmilod family. Sasha and Jerich developed a close bond that still remains to this day. Growing up was easy in the close-knit, loving Parmilod household. Weekends were spent tending to household chores and yard work, with interspersed breaks to play games in the yard with their parents. Education was stressed as the most important job the children had, and that proved to be very beneficial for both of the children. After graduating from the University with a BAS in business management, Sasha relocated to Coruscant and worked for three other companies before finding her true calling in business ownership.
