When I was in fourth or fifth grade my cousin lived with my family for a while. He was older then me and I’d always looked up to him, so having him live in my house made it feel like he was actually my brother.
One night my mom took me to his high school play and, for the first time in my life, I discovered my passion for acting.
Since then I’ve taken every high school action class I could get my hands into, competed in elementary school level acting competitions and made it to State competition with my “Odyssey of the Mind” group in ninth grade.
Some life changing events took place after tenth grade, and for the first time in my life I found myself unable to take the drama course at school. Forced to choose another elective I went with ‘Creative Writing’ Something I’d been interested in since discovering Rp in the sixth grade. As the class launched, I discovered m true passion for writing.
Since then I’ve written several short stories, had conversation with a publishing company over a novel I’ve been writing, whom I eventually turned down (Now that’s a long story) Procrastinated, doubted myself and at times even given up on my chances to make it as a professional writer.
Though at times I’ve tried to give up on my writing it’s not something I could ever do. Using the words of Stephen King as he wrote them being spoken by ’Ted’ In ’The Dark Tower’; “Because talent won’t be quiet, doesn’t know how to be quiet. Whether it’s a talent for safe-cracking, thought reading, or dividing ten-digit numbers in your head, it screams to be used. It never shuts up. It’ll wake you in the middle of your tiredest night, screaming ‘Use me, use me, use me! I’m tired of just sitting here! Use me, fuckhead, use me!"
I’m not writing because I want to be rich and famous. I’m writing because my characters have a voice, and they want to be heard. Sometimes they speak to me, sometimes they wake me up in the middle of the night screaming their thoughts, and others they hide and I search for them, only to get lost in my own mind. I can only pray they will never vanish for good.

Set in the heart of Historic Route 66, Kingman is an attraction for many tourists. Completely surrounded by beautiful mountains, its been rumored the Kingman actually sits in the center of a long dead Volcano. Whether or not you believe this to be true is your choice. It has a warm desert climate and though the mountains surrounding the town see snow every year, Kingman itself rarely sees any, and it never sticks.

| Satina and Television Programing

I dont watch a lot of TV, not compared to most of America anyway, but when I do sit down in front of the tube there are a few things I tend to look for. Now some of you are going to laugh when you hear this, but I'm a total sucker when it comes to anything having to do with Dinosoars or that era. The mystery of that time and the many theorys scientists now have fasinates me. I only wish I could find more programs on this.
I love to watch the Discovery Channel,there is always something amazing to learn about there. I also like to watch Animal planet, but I'm sure thats no shocker to any one that knows me, and from time to time something will come on the History channel that interests me.
When it comes to more laid back televison and actual shows I tend to watch a lot of older programs like Fresh Prince, Friends, Frasier. Things like that. But I also like most of the shows on CBS. My Favorites including:

When I was a kid I used to LOVE Anime! I still enjoy it from time to time but not nearly as much as I used to. I could have told you sooooo much about so many Anime shows they aired in the US, it wasn't even funny. I was a total fan girl... I'll admit it.

I DO Have a myspace page, but I dont spend much time on it. In fact, I dont think I've changed the lay out or any of the information on the page in about six months or so. For the most part I use it to keep in touch with some of my friends across the US. I add new pictures every now and then and I wont add people that I dont actually know, so if you happen to have one and feel the urge to add me as a friend, make sure you mention that you're from SWE in your add! I'd feel horrible if I rejected someone from here.

Stephen King is my all time favorite author. I look to his stories for inspiration when it comes to my own work. He has a way of captivating -And scaring the hell out of- me that no other author I've read has managed to do. Below are some of my favorite pieces of his work.
The Dark Tower Is my favorite series. I've read, listened to and talked about these books dozens of times... Not to mention Roland Dechain is impossible not to fall in love with. This set is unlike most of Kings work. It's a captivating story that lets you see into not only another world, but all worlds as Roland travels to The Dark Tower, hoping to save them all.

Smart, Sweet, Gentle, Caring, Charming, Friendly, Kind. A workoholic at times, but always pleasant to be around regardless of whether she’s being the boss or your friend. It’s not often you catch the young woman with out a friendly smile on her lips, it’s the dark secrets that this smile masks that few have ever seen.

But not everything about Hawk Corp is sunshine and roses… With rumors of unaccepted human and animal testing, and several believing Dorean Hawk is trying to play God, many people are against the company, and few have problems showing it.
How many dark secrets does Hawk Corporation really hold? And how long until their all discovered? Are any of them true? And if they are, what will happen to all the life saving discoveries Dorean Hawk has released? But most importantly, in the end of it all… Is he a good or evil man?

| In Loving Memory Of Vernon Torgerson

My Grandfather with me and my younger sister, 1998.
Vernon Torgerson died at the age of 82 in his home on December 25, 2006. Born on December 28th, 1923 in Brooten Minnesota, he met my grandmother there and started his family.
In 1960 my Grandfather, having grown sick of the snow and cold weather Minnesota has to offer, packed up his wife and five children and left in an attempt to move to California. Along the way they some how ended up in small town Kingman Arizona, and simply never left.
Four years later my mother was born, giving them their sixth child, and two years after that another little girth was born, making their family of nine complete.
A decorated army war veteran of World War II, my grandfather never spoke much of that time in his life. He was a charter member and one of the builders of the original Grace Lutheran Church. The Torgerson family quickly became a well known name through out the Kingman community.
For several years my grandparents were involved in the Mohave County Cancer fair. My grandfather would build everything from rocking horses, or any other animal, to clocks and bird houses. Anything you could imagine that man could build, and my grand mother would paint them. The smell of sawdust and wet pain will always bring their memory back.
A huge part of my life growing up, I’ll always remember my grandparents and the impact they had on my life. The night before my grandfather died we were at his home, and he looked on the verge of death. Laying in the chair I remember him spending so much time in through out my child hood, often eating peanuts and drinking a bear as he watched the news or a football game. The last time I saw him was Christmas Eve, hours before he died.
The next morning we got the call that he’d passed away.
Vernon and Jeanette Torgerson had seven children. Gary, Dale, Jane, Melvin, Iris, VerJean, and Nonnette. He also lived to see the birth of seventeen grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

I came to SWE terrified of even posting my first character application, thinking I wasn't going to be good enough to write among the amazing ranks we have here. Eventually I began to get a little more comfortable and began exploring other area's of SWE.
I started trying to make my own signatures, using MS paint to slap together images and thinking it was awesome looking... All up until I'd upload it and look at the stuff other people had made next to my own. Tais pointed me in the direction of Gimp, and for a while I didn't get any better, but eventually I began to learn how to actually manipulate the photos. After a while I joined the Art team, and from there my skill in that area has grown thanks to the ability to work with such fine artists as we have on the team.
Wanting to do more, I bugged Tais until he finally gave me the chance to join another team I thought I could do something with. He handed over control of the Database Team, which had died some time ago, and helped me bring it back to life. I spent a few months with this team before deciding I wanted a change.
I eventually switched to the Mentor Team, which aids new members as they join, create their characters, and get started in threads.
