Working as only the Sith can work Sith Lord Tirdarius and his newest counterpart Kubric Noxious embark on a mission to establish their dominance over the new Emperor. Leaving Korriban they head for Coruscant, intending to march right up to the Emperor and declare their independence of him and their desire to work with Josdon only so far as it serves their purposes.

While en-route Tirdarius work son a new saber, finishing the last steps of creation to test the new blade as they arrive in Coruscant. They decide to start with the MInister of Propaganda, but finding him not suited to their needs the duo tries the more direct approach of speaking with the Emperor personally.

Following their Sith senses Tirdarius and Kubric run into Jora, the Emperors bodyguard. She leads them to the Emperor and the verbal sparring begins. Tirdarius tries to strike a bargain at first with the Emperor, declaring that Sinis won't be around for much longer.

Josdon rebukes this declaration and proclaims that they are Sith and he controls the Sith. Period. Kubric decides to pressure the Emperor by displaying the power of the dark side. She attacks the Emperor's assistant Ivy Morau and even shoves the Emperor around a bit before Tirdarius steps in and plays the good guy role to Kubric's bad guy.

Tirdarius manages to negotiate their safe departure as well as entice the Emperors bodyguard to join them and learn from them. As Tirdarius and Kubric leave they calmly discuss the encounter, evaluating the situation and the potential in Jora as a pawn to use against the Emperor.

Reacting to the violence calmly the Emperor considers Jora's position and decides that Jora needed additional training, and that training could best be delivered by Tirdarius. Giving his permission for her to go to the Sith and train with them Josdon sets her on a path that could lead her to her death or to great glory.
